Return Policy

TNT Parts, Inc. - Return Policy

If an item you ordered from TNT Parts needs to be returned, you may return it to a store, or request an RGA “Return Goods Authorization” from your salesperson to return the item via driver pickup or by shipping the item back to TNT. Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving it. Items must be in new condition, and the original invoice must accompany the item to receive full credit for the return. All electrical parts purchases are final.

To Return an Item to a Store

  • Take the item, invoice and all original packaging and accessories to the TNT Parts location where the item was purchased.
  • An inspection of the item will be performed by your salesperson to determine whether the part will be accepted, and whether full or partial credit will be given.

  • If the item is returned on the same day it was purchased

  • If the item is returned on the same day the item was purchased, your salesperson will issue an immediate credit to the original payment method or provide store credit for the cost of the item and sales tax, if applicable.

    If the item is not returned on the same day it was purchased
  • For an item purchased using a credit card or debit card, your salesperson will issue an immediate credit back to your card or provide a store credit for the cost of the item and the sales tax, if applicable.
  • For an item purchased by cash payment under $100, a cash refund will be issued for the cost of the item and sales tax, if applicable.
  • For items purchased by cash payment over $100, a company check will be sent to the purchaser for the cost of the item and sales tax, if applicable.
  • For items purchased by check over ten working days ago and where purchaser has no other outstanding checks, a company check will be sent to the purchaser for the cost of the item and sales tax, if applicable.


To Return an Item via Driver Pickup
  • Contact your salesperson to obtain an RGA number. This must be done prior to the driver visit.
  • Make a copy of the original invoice and document the RGA number on the bottom of the copied invoice.
  • Have the item in its original packaging and the invoice copy ready for the driver. The driver will obtain a signature on the RGA form and leave a copy for your records.
  • Upon receipt of the item, an inspection of the item will be performed by your salesperson to determine whether the item will be accepted, and whether full or partial credit will be given.
  • All valid returns via driver pickup will be credited to your TNT Parts account.

To Return an Item via Shipping
  • Contact your salesperson to obtain an RGA number.
  • Make a copy of the original invoice and document the RGA number on the bottom of the copied invoice.
  • Package the item in its original packaging and include the invoice copy.
  • Mark the package with the RGA number.
  • Ship the package to:

  • Upon receipt of the item, an inspection of the item will be performed by your salesperson to determine whether the item will be accepted, and whether full or partial credit will be given.
  • All valid returns via shipment will be credited to your TNT Parts account.

Shipping Costs
All inbound and outbound freight costs associated with returning an item to TNT Parts will be the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise indicated by your TNT Parts salesperson.

Special Order Items
A 15% restocking charge will be levied on ALL special order parts that are refused and/or returned by the customer. Credit for special order items will be issued after the vendor’s credit has been issued to TNT Parts.

Damaged Items
Any item submitted for return which is damaged beyond reuse/repair will be rejected. Items damaged by TNT personnel during delivery must be documented on the original invoice and signed by TNT personnel to be returned for credit.

Third-party items
Items not purchased from a TNT Parts branch location may NOT be returned to TNT Parts for credit.

Warranty Items
Any item returned for warranty will be handled by the manufacturer’s warranty policy. Credit will be issued after the manufacturer’s warranty credit has been issued to TNT Parts.
